What is the uniqueness?
Currently, Soyuz-2 launch vehicles are being launched from the Vostochny cosmodrome. The launch complex, equipped with a unique mobile service tower, the like of which is not available at other Russian cosmodromes – neither at Baikonur nor at Plesetsk, was commissioned in 2016. The 1,600-ton structure with a height of 52 meters allows all work to be carried out in preparation for the start in the most difficult climatic conditions, while ensuring a high level of worker safety.

Condor-FKA is a small civilian radar Earth observation satellite developed by NPO Mashinostroeniya as a civilian analogue of the Condor-E satellite. The Kondor satellite is equipped with an S-band synthetic aperture Radar (SAR), which can conduct both continuous strip surveys and detailed spot surveys. The width of the strip is 10 km. The terrain resolution is from 1 to 2 m in searchlight mode, from 1 to 3 m in band map mode and from 5 to 30 m in scan mode.
